After all the dashing, snatching, shoving, and lots and lots of cursing, I made my way out of the FJ BENJAMIN SALE at the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel triumphant! In the end, I left the hotel ballroom the proud owner of.......

Mummy's best friend, Aunty Mariyam works for Mercedes Benz and guess who paid their office at Suntec Centennial Towers a visit? The whole bloody McLaren Team!! Mr Hamilton too! She got to see him IN PERSON!! I would have died! Thanks aunty for getting the autograph for me!!

So finally...... after everything is said and done,I'm so looking forward to Hari Raya! I've got to stop pigging out though or else I'd never fit into my purple corset! All the baju-baju are hanging nicely on the hangers waiting to be worn, the kueh mueh have been bought, and after an extensive search, his 5 inch songkok finally found! All that's left are shoes shoes shoes!! I'm beside myself with worry though, I haven't got a clue what colour shoes would match a purple sequinny glittery baju kebaya. Oh dear, I'd better not look like friggin' Barney!

I wanna thank my granddaddy for presenting to me this beautiful necklace and a gorgeous *coughs* gold lighter that lights up and plays "My Heart Will Go On" (thinking titanic? yes, the very one!) again and again when you light it. :) (Oh! The fiance was presented an identical lighter too. So we are both now proud owners of gold merlion titanic playing lighters!)That said, its the thought that counts and I am very very touched that my granddaddy thought of me.

Had an eventful 1st day of puasa and had the funnest & funniest time attempting to make Kueh Jongkong with Mama & Aunty Mariam. Selamat Berpuasa Ya'll!!
